About this honey
Everything the bees bring in between the spring blossom and the heather, taken off in one go at the end of July. We never blend across sites, so each batch is one apiary and the label tells you which.
It is the honey for toast, porridge and tea, and the one children ask for. Left alone it will set to a soft, spoonable cream over a few months. That is what raw honey does.
“The heather honey is the only one my father says tastes like the hills he grew up on. It arrives set like a jelly, exactly as the note in the box said it would.”
